Hi, I've heard several times over the past few years that to maintain your NSIQ accreditation with Bikeability an instructor needs to deliver a minimum of 72 hours of training per year.
However I can find nothing in writing to verify this information.
Does any know where this information is written?
Also is there a minimum of CPD training required per year or is that up to each individual scheme.
Thank you in advance for any responses.
Currently there is no enforcement about this. The onus is on schemes to ensure that instructors are skilled enough through mentoring and IQA.
Also atm no minimum CPD required though 1/2 day recommended.
This all may change following the recent instructor training review
