We have been conducting some PCAs across the country over the last year and have come across some practice which we have challenged to promote good practice throughout the industry. These include:
Stop 'U' turns
Stopping all the time a Give Way lines
Putting out warning cycle training signs
Promoting signalling every time regardless of whether there is anyone else around
The feedback we have been receiving from the scheme managers is that they are unaware of any guidance which highlights bad practice with suggested good practice which can be used as an alternative. Is anyone away of any specific guidance like this and if not could we used this conversation as an opportunity to shape this to support scheme managers with developing their schemes?
