We currently only issue a certificate and badge on successful completion of the outcomes. I feel to do otherwise could be misleading for parents in deciding whether the child has sufficient on road skills to start cycling to school.
'Bird on a bikes' example above is a good one! We often do that. Once Trainees can manage each separate drill adequately and depending on ability we often combine drills towards the end of the training.
I like the new booklet content. It is a good reference for after the course and something to share with parents. I prefer the shiny metal badges too!
He does a lot to encourage cycling in Bristol and has promoted cycle training to council staff and has loan bikes and cycle parking available on site
